Prior to founding her firm, Attorney Marshall worked as an insurance defense attorney in Hartford. Before attending law school, she also worked as a med tech for many years where she managed hospital laboratories. This experience gives Attorney Marshall a unique understanding of the many medical terminologies and variables that encompass cases involving personal injury and other medically related cases. In law school, Attorney Marshall was the president of the Student Trial Lawyer's Association and competed on a national level with the school's Mock Trial Team.

She is an active member of the Greater New Britain Bar Association. Attorney Marshall lives in New Britain and enjoys running, playing her fiddle, and spending time with her friends and family in her free time. She received her Juris Doctor from the University of Connecticut in 2003 and her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of West Virginia in 1976.
