Brittany Stancavage
Legal Assistant
Brittany is in her third year at Quinnipiac University School of Law where she is pursuing a concentration in Family and Juvenile Law. Brittany is the Lead Publications Editor of the Quinnipiac Probate Law Journal, the President of the Family and Juvenile Law Society, and is a member of both the Law School's co-ed softball team and the Quinnipiac University Club Softball Team. Prior to law school, Brittany graduated from Western Connecticut State University with a B.S. in Justice and Law Administration (Legal Studies Concentration) and a B.A. in Psychology. At WCSU, Brittany was the President of the Justice and Law Society, a member of the Appellate Advocacy Society, with whom she participated in two American Moot Court Association competitions, and she was a Captain of the Varsity Softball team.
Brittany has completed externships at the New Britain Juvenile Public Defender's Office, at the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut as a law clerk for the Honorable Alvin W. Thompson, and has spent a semester in the Mediation Clinic at Quinnipiac. During her time at WCSU, Brittany completed externships with the Danbury Superior Court Clerk's Office and the Family Relations Office. She is passionate about Family and Juvenile law and hopes to work in those areas after she graduates from Quinnipiac in May 2023.
Outside of the classroom, Brittany lives in Bristol, CT and spends much of her free time being active. Brittany loves playing softball and volleyball, as well as spending time with her family, friends, and two dogs.
